VoixDB collects minimal data to operate the platform. When you contribute voice recordings, we store the audio file, associated metadata (identity name, tags, language), and a timestamp. We do not require user accounts or collect personal identifying information for browsing.
Contributed voice data is used to power search functionality, generate audio embeddings for similarity matching, and improve the browsing experience. We may aggregate anonymous usage statistics to improve the platform.
Voice data and metadata are stored in our database infrastructure. We employ standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular backups. Audio embeddings are generated and stored locally for vector search capabilities.
We use a single cookie to remember your language preference. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
VoixDB is intended for legitimate voice data exploration, research, and creative purposes. You may search, listen to, and download voice recordings available on the platform for personal and non-commercial use.
By contributing voice recordings, you confirm that you have the right to share the content and grant VoixDB a non-exclusive license to host, process, and make the recordings available through the platform. All contributions go through an approval process before being publicly available.
If you believe any content on VoixDB violates your rights or is inappropriate, you can report it using the report button on any voice sample. We review all reports and take appropriate action.
VoixDB is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any voice data on the platform. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
